Helping clients explore their home design in Virtual Reality

This video showcases how Sunpath Architects used advanced 3D modelling software to help clients visualise their Passive House during the design phase.

Using tools like Revit, Enscape, and other CAD-based visualisation platforms, we create fully interactive 3D models that allow clients and consultants to explore the home in real-time — both on screen and in an immersive virtual reality environment.

This certified Passive House Plus in Melbourne was designed by architect Niall O Healaithe of Sunpath Architects, and constructed by Carbonlite using prefabricated Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs). These panels provided airtightness, high insulation, and rapid construction — key factors in achieving performance on an urban site.

Key Features:
Certified Passive House

Prefabricated SIPs building envelope

All-electric home with rooftop solar PV system

Triple-glazed alu-clad windows

Heat recovery ventilation with reverse cycle heating/cooling

Rainwater harvesting

Low embodied energy and low VOC materials

This project reflects Sunpath’s ongoing commitment to design innovation, sustainability, and client collaboration — supported by immersive visualisation tools that bring energy-efficient homes to life.
